The trout were biting on a number of different baits throughout the weekend and into this week. Anglers reported fish being caught on powerbait, mini jigs, thomas buoyants, and nightcrawlers. Most popular baits throughout the weekend were mini jigs and powerbait. Mini jigs seemed to work best in the early hours of the morning while powerbait seemed to work best in the late afternoon. Popular colors include chartreuse, cricket, and grasshopper. Popular spots include the south shore of Lake 3 and the southwest corner of Lake 2. Although it is trout season, the catfish are still making an appearance. Anglers reported catfish being caught on shrimp and garlic powerbait. Popular spots include the west side of Lake 3 and the south shore of Lake 4.
