Hello from Lake Miramar in Scripps Ranch. It seems like it is officially winter time with real rainstorms over the weekend. Fishing in the rain has its benefits if you can bare the weather. Rain breaks up the surface, creates current and flushed nutrients into a water body that can turn the bite on in a big way.

The bass bite has been steady with senkos and robo worms with a drop shot working best. Bluegill are going after the live worms especially the meal worms.
