Summer seems to have finally departed for good. The arrival of fall weather typically ushers in an increase in feeding activity with the larger catfish. Small to medium sized bass can be found around structure. Shad raps, crawdads, and dark colored plastics do well with the bass.

Crappie fishing is best in the early morning. Crappie prefer live golden shiners or mini-jigs.
