Average Water Temperature: 81.1°F
Water Clarity: 5 Feet

The catfish bite has picked up this week with many reports of fish being caught on shrimp. Popular spots include the south shore of Lake 4 off the dock and the southwest corner of Lake 3. The bass continue to bite on soft plastics such as senkos or roboworms. Popular spots include the south shore of Lake 2 and the west bank of Lake 5. Brenner caught this largemouth out of Lake 5 on a soft plastic. Join us October 3 and 4 for our last catfish stock of the season. Lakes 2,3,4,6 and 7 will all be stocked. Lakes 6 and 7 are for registered campers only so be sure to make your reservation today!

October 3 and 4 will be the last catfish stock of the season! No California State License is required, only a Santee Lakes daily permit. Gabina's Cuisine will be here in between Lakes 3 and 4 serving some great Filipino food on both days. Big Dev will be here Saturday throwing it down on the grill for some unbelievable BBQ. In addition to our food vendors we will also have Hook'd Bait and Tackle supplying you with all your cat-fishing needs throughout the weekend.
