September 2, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

09/02/2020
The Pacific Queen called in with an update from Day 1 of their 3 Day with 6 Bluefin Tuna (80-150lbs) for 26 anglers. 

The Outrider called in with an update from their 1.5 Day trip with 9 Bluefin Tuna up to 150lb for 11 anglers. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 26 Rockfish and 5 Sheephead for 8 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 29 Calico Bass, 13 Rockfish and 9 Sheephead for 9 anglers. 

The Liberty caught 80 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail for 40 anglers on their full day trip.

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS of Dorado (44), 12 Yellowtail, and 1 Mako for 22 anglers on their overnight trip. 

The Pegasus returned this AM with 21 Bluefin Tuna (up to 50#) for 18 anglers for their 1.5 day trip.

The Condor returned this AM  with 48 Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 29 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 19 Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 15 anglers.

The Condor called in with 48 Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 29 anglers.

The Dolphin PM called in with 36 Rock Fish, 6 Sheephead, and 5 Calico Bass for 19 Anglers.

The Dolphin AM called in with 64 Rock Fish for 27 Anglers.

The Liberty called in with 74 Dorado and 2 Yellowtail on their Full Day trip with 37 Anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 13 Bluefin Tuna (up to 50#) for 18 anglers to start their 1.5 day trip.

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 68 (limits) of Bluefin Tuna, 14 Yellowtail, and 1 Halibut  for their 1.5 day trip.

The Tomahawk returned this AM with LIMITS of (36) Bluefin Tuna (25-50#) for their 1.5 day charter with 18 Anglers.
 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
