Bass have been caught frequently near the narrows and also along the Del Dios side of the lake in deeper water off of bigger senkos in the watermelon with black flake. Although the bass have slowed down a bit, they are still being caught early mornings. Crappie have been caught near our handicap dock in 8 feet of water. Catfish are being caught towards the narrows and also around our pump station on mackerel. Bluegill are very active near all the shoreline and are being caught on live night crawlers as well as live wax worms. Tilapia are biting around the Del Dios side of the lake in shallow water and are biting on live night crawlers.

Bass bite has slowed down due to extreme heat. The best time to catch bass is now the early mornings in deeper water. Senkos and chatter baits are the go to at the moment.
