July 13, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

07/14/2020
The Outrider called in 7 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowtail for their Extended 1.5 day trip with 11 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 36 Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowfin Tuna for 36 anglers on their Full Day trip. 

The Dolphin PM caught 114 Calico Bass (100 Released), 1 Barracuda, 4 Sheephead, and 10 Rockfish for 35 anglers.

The Dolphin AM caught 85 Calico Bass (100 Released), 2 Barracuda, 5 Sheephead, and 7 Rockfish for 26 anglers.

The Shogun called in with 36 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowfin Tuna for 24 amglers on an Overnight trip. 

The Outrider called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (up to 30#) and 1 Yellowtail for 10 anglers on their extended 1.5 day trip.

The Condor called in with 23 Bluefin Tuna up to 70#, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna. They have multiple fish hanging! 

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with limits (68) of bluefin and 4 yellowfin for their 1.5 day trip.

The Pegasus returned this AM with 33 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin for their 1.5 day charter.

07/13/2020
The Pegasus called in with 33 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin for their 1.5 day charter.

The Dolphin PM caught 102 Calico Bass (100 Released), 3 Barracuda, and 14 Rockfish for 34 anglers.

The Western Star caught LIMITS of Yellowtail for 6 anglers on their Full Day Trip.

The Liberty called in with 69 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for their Full-day trip with 36 anglers.

Bight Sportfishing called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna (50-75#) for 3 anglers on their Full Day trip.

The Dolphin AM called in with 96 Calico Bass (100 released), 4 Barracuda, and 25 Sheephead. Captain Jason said the Calicos were biting plastics and recomends having them on the next trip.

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of  Bluefin Tuna (a few between 60 and 80 lbs.) and 4 Yellowfin Tuna. 

The Condor returned this AM with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna, 5 Yellowtail, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 17 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

 07/12/2020
The Dolphin AM caught 13 Calico Bass (75 RELEASED), and 23 Rockfish for 41 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM caught 41 Calico Bass (100 RELEASED), and 7 Sheephead for 39 anglers.

The Intrigue called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin for their Full-day trip with 6 anglers.

The Liberty caught 56 Bluefin and 1 Yellowfin on their full day trip for 36 anglers 

The Outrider finished up their 2 day trip with 31 Yellowtail, 4 Yellowfin, and 8 Bluefin (up to 80#) for 11 anglers.  

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin (68) for their Overnight trip.

The Pegasus finsihed their 2 day charter with LIMITS of Bluefin (56), 12 Yellowfin Tuna, and 2 Yellowtail. 

The Condor called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna, 5 Yellowtail, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 17 anglers.   

The Tomahawk returned with 31 Bluefin Tuna, (25 - 40#) and 19 Yellowtail (12 - 20#) on their 1.5-day trip.

The Islander returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna, 14 Yellowfin Tuna, and 15 Yellowtail on their 1.5-day charter with 21 anglers.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
