Lake Lowdown
Average Water Temperature: 65.3°F
Water Clarity: 2 Feet

Lakes 2, 3, and 4 were stocked on the 25th with 1,000 pounds of rainbow trout each. The fish are now acclimated and have moved throughout the lake. They are starting to bite on mini jigs and a powerbait/nightcrawler combo. Popular colors include chartreuse and grasshopper. Popular spots include the southeast corner of Lake 3 and the east side of Lake 4 near the restroom. The bass bite is starting to pick up with the weather warming up a bit. Jake caught this 9 pound bass out of Lake 1.

February 25th was our last stock of trout for this season. Although trout season is coming to an end remember if you catch a trout three pounds or larger you can enter it into our ultimate angler experience drawing until March 31st! Book your site and save the date for the weekend of April 18th and 19th for the Catfish Opener. 2,000 pounds of catfish will be stocked including tagged and trophy sized fish up to 16 pounds!
