Lake Poway stocked Nebraska Tail Walkers including trophies on January 29th for the Youth Fishing Derby. Both the shoreline and boats were catching their limits.  Richard Gaunter (see photo) caught a 4.7 lb. trout in Hidden Bay using Peach PowerBait the Sunday after the Derby.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. See the flyer below for the complete Stocking schedule.


Free Trout Fishing Seminar at Lake Poway

Saturday: March 14th, 2020

Come learn from the experts. This seminar is geared toward beginners and first-time anglers. The seminar will cover; basic fishing techniques, bait types, equipment. No registration is required, and no equipment is needed.
