Trout fishing has slowed a bit. They are still catching fish, but limits are hard to come by. Wednesdays plant should rejuvenate things. Fishing has been best on the east end and in Boat Dock Cove. The fish appear to be in a little deeper water. Inflated night-crawlers, and mouse-tails, have been the top baits.

The bass bite has been slow with only small to medium sized bass being recorded. Largemouth Bass can be found around structure. They respond well to crawdads, swimbaits, and dark colored plastics.

Catfish continue to be caught throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.

The new crappie float has been the best bet for catching crappie. Crappie are most often caught on finger jigs or live golden shiners.
