  • It's official! Trout Season is here! The Trout Opener is Friday, November 15th through November 17th. Wrights Rainbows of Idaho is once again stocking our lake this year. We will be stocking biweekly reaching a total of 20,000 lbs. for the season!
  • Trout Tip: When it comes to using live bait for trout nothing beats a good old fashioned inflated nightcrawler. Along with nightcrawlers, try salmon or rainbow Powerbait which can also be very effective.  All for sale in the Bait Shop!
  • Did you know? A trout can see out of both corners of its eyes simultaneously, meaning they can see in almost every direction at once!
  • The lake's Hours of Operation changed beginning Friday, November 8th, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • All Veterans and Active Duty members of the United States Armed Forces will be able to fish and enjoy a beautiful day at the lake for free at Lake Jennings on Veteran's DayMonday, November 11, 2019. The lake will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and proper military identification will be required.
  • Lake Jennings currently has openings for Volunteer Park Hosts. If you are interested in applying, please go to our website HERE.
  • It is the perfect season to rent a Tipi! They rent for $65/night Sunday-Thursday and $75/night Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. You can book them on our website at www.lakejennings.org or you can give us a call at (619) 390-1623 for assistance.  Also, check out the Events Calendaron our website for the latest on upcoming activities at the lake!
  • If you love camping, the campground has many fun things for children (and kids at heart) to do! Tetherball, giant Jenga, Horseshoes, and Corn Hole. There is also a covered playground area available with a swing set for the kids. Head to the Pavilion any day for games like ping pong or foosball! Enjoy campfire s'mores with Ranger Rusty Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
