Hello from Lake Jennings! There are absolutely no changes except that it
might be better than last week!!!!! The bass are still biting well due to the
water level dropping though the sudden drop in pressure Friday night and
early Saturday morning did slow them a bit until the end of the day. Senko's
and Bass Assassins continue to do well and still no top water action. The fish
are sticking to their pattern of moving deeper until evening. Catfish continue to be caught along the
buoy line and a few right off shore though you still need to fish deep.
Best Trout Spots: None
Best Trout Lures/Bait: None
Best Catfish Spots: The dam buoy line.
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Dawn and dusk tight on the bank.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Ikas, Senkos, #13 Rapalas & Pop R's.
Notables: Sat., 13-year-old Beau Irvin, Lakeside 10-10 cat, Power Bait Blood, boat dock. Sat., Dan
Heiser, El Cajon, 9-2 and 6-6 channel cats, buoy line, mackerel.
