The Pacific Voyager is returning from a 2 day charter with 19 Bluefin and 24 Yellowtail for their 19 anglers!
The San Diego finished their full day trip offshore with 4 Bluefin Tuna.
The Aztec returned this morning from a 1.5 day trip with 5 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowfin Tuna!
Our offshore tuna fleet continues to scratch away at the Bluefin tuna, Yellowtail and Yellowfin tuna. Captains report seeing vast schools of tuna daily but getting them off an easy buffet of small anchovies has been the challenge. The wise angler would continue to bring an array of tackle including combos for 30# to100#line as the weight range of the tuna has been from fish in the 10-15 pound class to well over 200 pounds.

Captain Greg of the AZTEC called in from their overnight trip with 3 Bluefin Tuna weighing in at 256, 234 and 174 pounds! The AZTEC has 1.5 Day trips departing next week that will be specifically targeting these larger Bluefin.
