Early April FIshing Report

by Lake Poway Staff

Tony Orlina and Zach Arche combined for six nice Tailwalkers on Saturday (see photo). They were fishing from a boat trolling night crawlers between Jump Off Point and Boulder Bay. They also had success throwing a combination of night crawlers and power bait at the log boom.

It was also a good week for bass with many in the three to five pound range caught as well as a couple of much larger bass.

Fishing should be great next week with our second to last stock of Tailwalkers for the season coming on Wednesday April 10th.

Once again please release spawning bass, we do not stock bass so the only way to maintain the population is to allow them to spawn.

Next stock: April 10th, 1,000 pounds of Tailwalkers.

Stocking schedule subject to change.
