Trout were being caught over in Siesta Cove on minijigs and near the boat ramp last weekend. Renting or bringing your own boat to launch is a wise idea! They are going deeper in the lake this time of year.

1,500 lbs. of Rainbow Trout are going in the lake this week and another 1,700 lbs. will be stocked the week of March 19th in preparation for Spring Carnival!

Bass news! There are reports of a lot of big bass on the beds. They are spawning and biting on flukes, brushhogs and roboworms in bright colors.

We have a lot of exciting events happening around the lake this month:

Full Moon Fishing on Saturday, March 17th. The lake will be open 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Lanterns are required after 5:00 p.m. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This weekend is daylight savings! It is time to spring forward and that means that beginning March 16th, the lake will be open until 7:00 p.m. on Fridays-Sundays!

Spring Break is coming up. The lake will be open daily beginning March 23rd through April 8th. Make your camping reservations today!

There will be an egg hunt at the Spring Carnival again this year on Saturday, March 24th. Mark your calendars. The Kid's Pond will also be in the lake again! Bring your families out for a wonderful day!
