WEEK ENDING:  1-7-18 WATER TEMPERATURE: 59 

Not much has changed here this this past week, fish are still scattered throughout the water column any-where from 10' to 60'. Jigs, and drop shot have been picking up the deep bass, and rip baits, and swimbaitsgetting bit in the shallows. Both catfish, and panfish went unreported last week.

The Bass fishing has been fair with fish up to 1.5 pounds.

The bass population has been scattered throughout the water column anywhere from 10' to 40'plus. Most bottom bouncing techniques have been working for the deeper fish, while the ones holding shallow have been biting flukes, small swimbaits, and ripbaits. Brad Sheperd of El Cajon caught and released a pair of nice blue catfish that went 32 Ibs, and 19113s. on cut mackerel.
