Catching the Spotlight

There are still tagged fish to be claimed in Lakes 2, 3, and 4. Keep an eye out for the yellow tags on the back of the trout. If you catch one, bring it up to the General Store to redeem it for a prize. Make sure you keep the tag on the fish and bring your fishing permit. Bring any trout 5 lbs. and over to the General Store as well to be entered into the drawing for a two-night stay in our cabins. The drawing will be held on April 1st.

Lake lowdown

Avg. Water Temp: 63.8 °F Water Clarity: 1 ft. Reports are similar to the reports last week. Trout are still being caught on mini jigs and Powerbait. Bass are still being caught by anglers willing to put the time in with swimbaits. Bluegill and catfish reports have been few and far between but this may just be due to anglers not targeting them as much.
