The Bass bite has slowed down a little but anglers are having success with top water in early morning and late afternoon. Drop shotting purple or watermelon plastics seem to be the best option in mid afternoon. There were a couple of nice Catfish caught off the fishing pier in late afternoon on cut mackerel. Pete Choy caught a nice stringer of Bluegill using Red Worms in about 15 feet of water.
