WEEK ENDING:  9-17-17      WATER TEMPERATURE:  80

Early morning hours have the bass chasing silversides on main lake points. Small swimbaits, spoons, and flukes all worked for the breaking fish. The rest of the day has been drop shot, or jigs, and Texas rigs in 30' to 40' in the water column. Look for bluegill on grassy points, and coves along the northern shoreline. The 'gils have been holding in 10' to 20' depth range, and have been taking red worms, 'crawlers, and mealworms. No sign of a catfish here in over a month.

The Bass fishing has been fair with fish up to 1.5 pounds.

The Bluegill has been good with fish up to 1/2 pounds.
