Bass are moving out into the main part of the lake making it eaiser to find them. Cat fishing is still off the hook no pun intended. If you are looking for cats, Hodges may be the call. Pan fishermen have had their pans full. So check out Hodges for that summer fish fry. Carp are still in the shallows crashing around the submerged trees and brush, Bow hunters will not be disappointed.

Bass are on the move chasing fry. Anglers are reporting more bass being caught this week. Cat fishing has been exceptional. Cat fisherman have made their way to Hodges to find some nice cats. Bluegill are still showing up with consistency; you can use mealworms, red worms and/or crickets. The Bass have started to move out into deeper water so anglers have had an easier time to find them. Cat fisherman have been finding luck in using Mackeral with the largest cat being 8.45 lbs.
