Anglers are still catching a lot of nice sized trout this week, despite it being the week after the opener. Eddie Hernandez (pictured top right) caught this 5.4 lbs trout out of lake 3 on a mini jig. Brandon (pictured top left) also had good luck this week. He caught this 4.5 Lbs. trout on a worm/powerbait combo out of lake 4 with his dad.
There are still plenty of prizes left out there. Luon Sangsanoy (picture bottom left) won this $25 visa gift card when he caught a tagged trout this week out of lake 3. Mike Hirst (picture bottom right) claimed his prize this week for coming in seconded in our top 5 biggest fish contest for the trout opener. Lake Lowdown
Lake 4 has over taken Lake 3 this week as the most productive trout lake with Lake 2 coming in a close second. Anglers are still pulling trout out of Lake 3 but it has slowed down considerably since the opening weekend.
Mini jigs and Powerbait continue to be the baits of choice for anglers here at the Lakes.
