Deep, compressed body with a distinctive sickle-shaped (falcate) dorsal and anal fin. Dark brown to black overall. Large eyes. Adults reach 24–36 inches.\n\n

How to Catch Sickle Pomfret

Technique

Rarely encountered by sport anglers. An occasional offshore longline bycatch. The flesh is reportedly excellent quality.
