The worm bite that lasted forever has slowed, due to the fact that most bass are up on top chasing silversides all over the main lake. These fish have been a bit finicky, with one bait working one day, and not the next. Those who have been able find out what they want that day have had some excellent fishing on largies averaging 1.5 to 2lbs. Bluegill still coming in from the backs of coves on mealworms, and redworms. There have been rumors of a couple of striped bass being caught over the weekend, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet. All other species were no shows last week.
