The water level is back up, the algae bloom is almost gone, and the lake looks great! The Bass are still spawning and anglers are hooking up on crank baits, swim baits, and as always, live shiners are very effective. The panfish bite is sporadic but they are feeding when you can find them. Catfish are being caught in late afternoon on the fishing pier and the northwest shoreline.

The Bass Club of San Diego held a Tournament on 04/08/17. 17 Anglers caught 54 fish.

Miller Marks caught the biggest fish at 6.0 lbs. Jesse Gofigan has the heaviest bag at 9.85Ibs.
