Day One, turned out pretty good!

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone, we arrived at our first destination around lunch time, and it didn't take long for the Yellowtail to start biting. Most of the Yellows were in the 12–18-pound size., with a few larger ones to 25 pounds.

With the bite fast and heavy, it didn't take long to get our daily limits. Once we achieved our daily limits, we went hunting for Halibut and Calico Bass.

We manage to get enough Calico for a fish fry, and a few were tagged and put in the hole. We also caught on halibut. Weather is perfect, with a slight breeze, sunny and warm most of the day. We will try to get a tank of bait tonight and see what the Yellowtail want to do tomorrow.

Everyone onboard is having a great time. We will spend the morning and then decided what to do. So, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. Team R/p

We will arrive to Fisherman’s landing at 0500 hours to off load and get ready for another six day trip. This has been an adventure and we look forward...... Read More
