3 Day Malibu Open

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone;

Well we departed on our annual Malibu 3 day open charter.  We departed Fisherman’s landing at 10:30 hours.  We have a good load of bait as we head for points south.  After lunch, Jeff gave a seminar on the do’s and don’t of the boat.  It was time to get to work.  It didn’t take long to get everyone ready.

I would have to say for our first afternoon, we had a decent day of tuna fishing.  We ended up with 87 Yellowfin tuna and 2 Bluefin.  The Yellowfin were in the 18 to 30 pound range, and the two Bluefin were in the 40 to 50 pound category.  Once that bite was over, it was time to start heading south again.

We are now drifting, and hoping the fish will be under the boat when we awake.  Luck anglers today Tom Trainer with a 50 pound class Bluefin, and Ted Reiser with his first Bluefin tuna, another 50 pound class fish.

Not much more to report, so until tomorrow, wish us luck.  Team R/p (Jeff, Dharyl, Jesus, Ryan, Mike, Traevon, Kyle, and Mike).

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
