Good action today featuring the signature 60 - 90 pound yellowfin tuna that this magical island is so well known for. Minimal theft from the local denizens made the day that much more special as we remained stationary throughout practicing our craft. Not that it came easy. The old strategy of getting on them early and pulling for all one is worth was still the key to success. But such excitement is exactly what we came for. Between the setting, the action, and this exceptional group of anglers giving it their all this day left us wanting for none.

Day two now approaches. Taking nothing for granted we forge ahead ready to get back in the ring first thing tomorrow. On the heels of every good day out here is an ass whooping waiting to happen. Many a hard lesson has been learned in this arena by those that let their guard down. We aim to prevent that through determined attention. Very good morning sign the deeps suggest that there is mucho potential to build upon. We shall see.

Photo today features Royal Star master angler and friend Dennis McNeely with one of the “stock” grade fish landed today. They are all beauties!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
