Breaking News:

The American Angler returned from a 1.5 day trip this morning with a 211-pound Bluefin Tuna,  plus Bluefin of 129 and 50-pounds.  The entire fleet is into these bluefin.  There is still room on these 1.5 days on the American Angler, call their office at 619-223-5414 to secure your reservation.


The Daily Double came back from their morning 1/2 day with 43 Rockfish, 23 Scorpionfish, 4 CA Sheephead and 3 Whitefish. 
 

The American Angler has a 1.5-day trip that departs this Sunday night and again on Wednesday night (4/21). Both trips are a definite GO and will be fishing offshore for Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail. The boats fishing yesterday had a couple of dozen Bluefin from 80-180#, along with very good counts of Yellowtail. To book either of these trips, call Lori at 619-223-5414 or book online at AA Schedule
 

The Daily Double has ½ day trips scheduled every day to the local kelp beds. The departure time is 8:30 am. Trips are limited to 24 passengers. Starting this Saturday the Daily Double will be offering afternoon ½ day trips on Fridays and Saturdays during April and May. Departure time is 3:00 pm with a return time of 8:30 pm. 
 

The Mission Belle has full-day trips to the Coronado Islands schedule every day. The departure time is 6:00 am. The ticket price includes your fishing permit for Mexico, FMM, and biosphere bracelet. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.

We were greeted with phenominal sign upon entering the grounds but they lost  interested by the afternoon.  We only put 3 onboard but those deserve bragging rights with a 211, 129 and 50#er.  Even though the outcome wasn't what we were hoping for, the sign leaves us super optimistic about tonight's trip and those in the near future.  The guys recommend that you have a 60-80# outfit for the sinker/rubberband rig as well as for daytime jig fishing - for bait......
