Capt. James on the Sauerfish returned from an overnight trip last night with LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna and LIMITS of Yellowtail for his 6 passengers.

 

Upcoming Trips from PLSF:

Departing on Wednesday night:

The New Lo-An departs for a 1 ½ day trip at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $380.00 which includes your Mexican fishing permits and bunk. A California license is additional. This trip will be targeting Bluefin Tuna, so make sure to bring an 80# or 100# outfit. Only 13 passengers are signed up at this time.

 

Departing on Friday night:

The El Capitan departs for a 2 day trip at 9:30 pm. Ticket price is $590.00 which includes your meals and bunk. Fishing permits are additional. This trip is limited to 18 passengers max and has 3 spots remaining.

 

The Chief has an overnight trip departing at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $260.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permits and bunk.

 

Departing on Saturday night:

The Chief departs for a 1 ½ day trip at 8:00 pm. Ticket price is $380.00 which includes your Mexican fishing permits and bunk. A California license is additional.

 

Lobster Hoop Netting Trip:

The Josie Lynn is running lobster trips Wednesday through Saturday. Trips depart at 5:30pm and return at 11:00 pm. Ticket price is $100.00 per person and includes two hoop nets. A valid California fishing license and lobster report card is required for all passengers. Trips are limited to 5 passengers.


Upcoming 1/2 day & Full Day Trips:

The 1/2 day boat Daily Double departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors. Return time is around 2:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.

 

The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing Offshore in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado and Bonito. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license. Passports are not required for this trip.

The Point Loma is now running "local" ¾ day trips on a daily basis. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30 am with a return time around 4:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.

The Josie Lynn came back from their last Twilight Lobster trip with 12 keeper Lobster and 33 shorts released.
