The Mission Belle finished up with 135 Yellowtail, 18 Bonito, one Barracuda and one Sculpin. Capt Steve P. reported a nicer grade of yellowtail today and amazing weather.

The New Lo-An checked in this morning with 2 jumbo Bluefin around 140lbs each. They also reported losing a fish around 200 lbs at the boat. Capt. Markus reported excellent signs of Bluefin in the area. Make sure to bring the heavy tackle (80#) if you’re going offshore tuna fishing.

Western Outdoor News 4th Annual San Diego Offshore Jackpot in this Friday!!!

This one-day overnight tournament departs 9 p.m. June 28 and returns the next night at 7 p.m. The cost is $275 per angler and this includes a $20 jackpot buy-in. 

In addition to several shots at a big payday, there are many other ways to score great prizes at the San Diego Offshore Jackpot. First off, by booking your spot before May 31st you are in the running to win one of three Daiwa Saltist Star Drag reels or one of three Daiwa Proteus rods! The largest fish from each landing will be awarded a Daiwa Saltist reel and Daiwa Proteus rod combo. The largest fish from each boat will win a pair of Costa sunglasses valued at $250! Finally at the award ceremony upon return there will an additional 3 Daiwa Saltist reels and 3 Daiwa Proteus rods raffled away!

Upcoming 1½ day & Overnight Trips:

The New Lo-An has an overnight trip departing on 6/27 at 9pm. Ticket price is $215.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk.

The Dominator has an 1.5 day trip departing on 6/29 at 8pm. Ticket price is $350.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk.

The El Capitan has a 2 day trip departing on 6/29 at 9:30pm. Ticket price is $590.00 and includes your meals and bunk. Permits are additional

The Vagabond has an 1.5 day trip departing on 6/29 at 8pm. Ticket price is $475.00 and includes your meals and bunk. Permits are additional

The New Lo-An has an overnight trip departing on 6/29 at 9pm. Ticket price is $215.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk.
 

Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:

The Daily Double is scheduled daily at 8:30 am for 1/2 day trips to the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra. The Daily Double is now offering 2 trips a day with the second trip leaving at 3:00 pm and returning at 8:30 pm. 
 
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.

The Point Loma is now running "local" ¾ day trips on a daily basis. Ticket prices are $85.00 for adults and $75.00 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30 am with a return time around 4:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport is required for this trip

The New Lo-An reports they have 2 jumbo Bluefin onboard ranging around 140 pounds. We will update more as the boat keeps us up to speed. The Mission Belle is 50+ deep on yellowtail with quality fish ranging from 12 to 18lbs. Capt Steve P. reports a nicer grade of yellowtail today and weather is amazing.
