Bluegill action came up a notch or two last week, as the panfish begin to spawn.  Several trophy size gill's were reported to the concession last week, led by David Lewis of Chula Vista.  Lewis used a whole nightcrawler to subdue a 3.35 lber, just .03 lbs off the recently set lake record.  Several other anglers brought in 2 lb plus fish as well.  The bass bite still going strong, with big fish honors going to Chris Giese of Santee, who boated a 6.6 largie on a senko.  The largemouth are scattered from 2ft to 30ft in the water column, and many anglers having 10 to 30 fish days on senkos. flukes drop shot worms, rip baits and small swim baits.
