Landing Manager Carl Schmidt checked in at 1:52 PM with an audio report from Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA. Captain Taro checked in with four Bluefin Tuna (25 to 60 pounds). We have 3 or 4 going right now. We have seen the Bluefin boiling around the boat. We also had 23 Yellowtail earlier in the AM.
Make sure you have 25 to 60 pound outfits. The flat fall jigs have been working great.
Our half day boat the Dolphin has had some great fishing recently. Just yesterday we had 6 anglers catch 40 reds and 20 rockfish along with a nice sheephead.

4-25-2018April 25, 2018 The Dolphin had 20 rockfish, 40 reds, and 1 sheephead for their 6 anglers on the PM trip. The Liberty finished with a 70 lb Bluefin, 1 Yellowtail, and 1 Bonito on their full day trip. Bring heavy gear as the Bluefin are better quality.
