TROUT

Trout have been biting steadily in Hermit Cove and Cloister Cove on PowerBait and mini jigs. Target depths of 5-15 feet with tules and other structure. 1,500 lbs. of trout will be stocked this week.

BASS

The most productive areas for bass fishing are the T-dock, Cloister Cove shoreline, and Shadow Cove. Bass are biting on Senkos and jerk baits.

CATCHES OF THE WEEK

Mike, Tyler, and Cooper Maio of El Cajon each reeled in their limit of trout on Monday! They were fishing in Hermit Cove and Cloister Cove with Power Worms and jigs.
Aidan McFarlane caught a double digit bass from Cloister Cove with jerk bait! The bass weighed in at 10 lbs. 14 oz.
Wayne Burkely and Brian Strowe caught 5 trout a piece from Hermit Cove. They were fishing with jigs, night crawlers, and PowerBait.
Hannah Michaelis and Nick Turner of North Park caught 4 trout from Hermit Cove with mini jigs.
