Catching the Spotlight

Our Catfish Opener went very well last weekend. While the Lakes weren't producing huge sized catfish, they were producing huge numbers. The biggest catfish of the weekend was 3 lbs. 11 oz. and was caught by Sambath Bun. He caught it on shrimp out of Lake 4. In second place we have Heng Pun. Third place we have Ezequiel Aguirre. In fourth place we have a five way tie between Chim Jong, Boy Thay, Kalvin Un, Doeun Siv, and Luis Velazquez. In fifth place we have Ezequiel Aguirre again. Over Saturday and Sunday we had a total of 19 tagged catfish caught for prizes. That means there are still 21 more tags currently out there waiting to be caught.

Our big winner for the trout season raffle is Tyler Belus. He won two free nights stay in our cabins!

Lake Lowdown

Avg. Water Temp: 69.2°F
Water Clarity: 3 ft.

Catfish season is here. We will be stocking a total of 25,500 lbs. of catfish this season. The bait that seemed to catch the most catfish during the opening weekend was shrimp. Mackerel was also very productive.

The bass bite continues to get better and better. Most anglers are throwing swim baits or soft plastics.
