Bass fishing was very good last week, with most anglers experiencing limit style action all around the lake. Most fish have been in the 1.5 to 21b range, though there seems to be plenty of 5 to 6lbers showing as well.

Senkos, jigs, drop shot, and jerk baits getting the lion’s share of bites. There was reportedly a 70lb blue cat caught and released, along with a 40lber, and a few in the 25Ib class. Cut mackerel in the backs of coves has been the ticket to success for the kitties. Panfish have been scarce, as only a handful of redear, and bluegill were reported. Crappie were M.I.A. last week.
