Catching the Spotlight

Our last trout stock of the season went very well. The biggest trout caught this weekend was caught by James Waddell (top left). He caught an 11 lbs. 10 oz. trout out of Lake 4 on Chartreuse Powerbait. Max Hagadone (top right) caught a 6 lbs. trout out of Lake 3. He also caught his trout on Chartreuse Powerbait. Nash Sanchez Caught (bottom) caught his 4 lbs. 10 oz. trout out of Lake 4. He was using Powerbait. April 1st and 2nd will be our annual Catfish Opening Weekend. We will be stocking 2,000 lbs. of catfish. Catch tagged fish for prizes!

There will be no more trout stocks for this season but there are still plenty of nice sized trout in Lakes 3 and 4. Most of these are being caught on Powerbait. The bass bite has been doing well. Most of the bass are in their pre-spawning routine. I have reports of bass being caught on swim baits and soft plastics.
