CATFISH

Catfish anglers had great success this weekend, during both the daylight and during our night fishing event Saturday. Catfish were biting on inflated night crawlers, dough baits, and mackerel. Half Moon produced quick limits for many anglers… one angler reported catching his limit in under one hour! Anglers were also pulling in catfish around 4 lbs. from other coves like Sentry Cove and Shadow Cove.

PANFISH

Panfish are biting on night crawlers off of Eagle Point and in Hermit Cove.

Are you a beginner fishermen or have questions about different fishing techniques? Fishing University is held at the Bait Shop every Saturday morning at 10 a.m.. CAMPGROUND CORNER

Jessica Carreon stayed in one of our new Tipis! Here is what she had to say, “The open air top gave us a beautiful sight of the full moon that evening, and it made it more spectacular. I thought it would be cold in the evening, but the weather proof canvas kept us warm… I highly recommend staying at one of these Tipi's to families with kids. We're already planning our next stay.”
